I made a material function with a moss material I made to overlay the assets in the scene, I could then control the amount of moss using Material parameter collections, like this sofa for example!

The goal with this environment was to make a scene inspired by the Last of Us 2 while also creating something in my own style.
I really got to work with being creative with the materials and assets I made during the limited 4 weeks of half-time I had doing this environment.
I focused on making materials that could easily be tweaked with parameters in Designer but also in Unreal by creating different instances of the materials and setups so they can easily be to tweaked or vertex painted in Unreal. All the assets, materials and models are made by me.
