Coffee by the pergola

I took some reference photos of my cup and coffee press home in lack of inspiration, and then using nanite for some of the props I could increase the geometry and create some nice silhouettes.

I created the birch material by going out and scanning a nice looking and baking the highpoly on a cylinder, I then used Substance Painter and Designer to fix the tiling and giving it proper material channels to make it game-ready.

I used the same process for the brick wall except I baked it out on a 2x1m plane.

I made modular nanite pieces, if I wanted to use them for something more, but it didn't quite fit the scene and I have to tweak the material a bit more to make it tile better in the future.

These are the two assets I took from Quixel and used for the pathway in the scene.

In this work I wanted to explore and have some fun with photogrammetry pipelines while also doing some foliage and lighting in UE5. Everything in this scene is made by me except for two ground assets which I borrowed from quixel:) Enjoy!

For the foliage I used a combination of Zbrush, Substance Designer, Painter and finally speedtree to put together atlases for the different vegetation types. The materials were a mix of some photogrammetry I made myself and some substance designer materials I made from scratch and things I've made earlier for fun that I reused or modified.
